The
inclement weather policy is as follows:
In the case of inclement weather, Blue
Grass Baptist School's name will appear on the bottom of the TV screen.
Blue Grass may not follow Fayette County's closing policy, so, please
look for our name. The school's closing will also be on our website and
posted on our Facebook page. There is a school in Richmond called
Bluegrass Christian School, so, please don't get that school confused with Blue
Grass Baptist School.
In addition to school closings, we
plan to implement 1 hour or 2 hour delays. If we plan to delay school,
but not close, this information will be posted in the same manner as school
closings. There will be no before school care and we will have a modified
schedule during the school day.
As always, your child's safety is our
paramount concern. If you feel it is too treacherous to attempt to drive
to school, your student will be excused. Please, use your
discretion.
Also, on days when there is snow, and
we have school, please be careful in the parking lot, on the sidewalks and
steps. They may be slick.
On "One our Two Hour Delay" days, these days will be free dress
down days. Students must follow the
regular dress down policy. Hoodies are
allowed for $1.00 for seniors.

closings or delays on Facebook, Twitter, and the front page of the school's
website, www.bluegrassbaptist.com.

Monday: Chick-Fil-A
Tuesday: Culver's
Wednesday: Fazoli's
Thursday: Zaxby's
Friday: Students may bring $1.50 per slice for Pizza. Topping choices are pepperoni, cheese, or sausage. No pre-ordering required. Breadsticks are $.25 each. No pre-orders are required for pizza and bread sticks.
Hot Lunch Orders are accepted in advance at the cost of $3.75 per day.
We also have vending machines in the cafeteria that include hot lunch items, soups, snacks, fruit, juice, milk, water, and soft drinks. Microwaves are available in the lunch room, as well. We do not have refrigerators available for students.
