One privilege of being a senior is that you get to leave school early; with co-op you can have a job and work 175 hours during the school year and receive an elective credit for it. During the summer, other students can do a volunteer program. This past summer, junior Andrew Hancock volunteered at Central Baptist Hospital for 175 hours and received an elective credit. Andrew told us,"It was a great experience; I got to learn about everything in the hospital. I really liked surgery. Working in surgery I got to see all kinds of operations, like heart surgery, plastic surgery, and amputations. It was a very easy credit to get, and it beats sitting in a classroom!"
